Today is your day. It’s the anniversary of your birth.
You can celebrate any way, for what it’s worth.
Surround yourself with cake and with good friends.
Sing songs of joy. Hope the party never ends.
A parade in your honor. A float. Or five!
An orchestra singing your praises on high!
A blimp with your name going across the scroll.
They should recognize you at the next super bowl.
A promotion at work, or at least a raise in pay.
Everyone needs to realize that this is your day!
